HSC Announces Open Tryouts

Hamilton Soccer Club (HSC) has announced that their open tryouts for the Fall 2024/Winter & Spring 2025 Seasons will be June 10-13 (Subject to change).  This will be the first season where HSC will be utilizing professional trainers from the Philadelphia Union.  HTRSA and HSC signed an affiliation agreement with the Union where HSC gets access to Union training staff, coaching resources, and a player development pathway that can carry a player from Hamilton all the way to the MLS.

“We are exciting that we can offer players quality soccer training and still be very competitive from a price stand point compared to many other local clubs.  The opportunity to the Union means we can grow as large as we like and not have to worry about where to find trainers.  We will be working with the Union in the coming months to develop player development curriculum.  The Union have been one of, if not the most, successful youth development teams in MLS.” commented Brian Addis HTRSA President.

HSC has been enjoying a great run of success recently and is looking to bolster their existing clubs as well as add new teams.  HSC currently has existing teams for boys born in 2016 to 2009.  They are looking to add an additional 2017 team and depending on interest, 2016 and 2014 teams.

“The number of teams that we will field is dependent on interest.  If we have enough quality players to form a new team in an existing age group we would love to do that.” said Brian Addis HTRSA President.

HSC has teams that play in the Monmouth Ocean Soccer Association (MOSA) and the Elite Development Program (EDP).  The league participation depends on how a team has historically performed.  The MOSA league as teams in Mercer, Monmouth, and Ocean counties and it a flighted league with Fall and Spring open cup competitions.  The EDP league is one of the premier soccer leagues in the entire US.  HSC has historically had teams that migrate from MOSA to EDP when the need arises for stiffer competition.

“Hamilton Soccer Club offers players an opportunity to benefit from a higher level of competitive play” added Gregg Smith HTRSA Vice-President.
