Rising Stars Shine in Philadelphia Union’s Youth Programs

HTRSA and HSC are beaming with pride as they celebrate the achievements of five exceptional young talents who have recently made significant strides in their soccer journeys. Colin Todd  (Strikers) and Ben Laufenberg (Cobras) were selected for the prestigious Philadelphia Union Player Pathway Program (PPP).  Cole Ehrmann, Max Ehrmann and JeanCarlo Hernandez, all from the Cobras, earned spots in the Philadelphia Union Development Program (UDP). HTRSA’s strong affiliation with the Philadelphia Union allows HSC players to take advantage of these unique opportunities.

Colin Todd and Ben Laufenberg’s inclusion in the Player Pathway Program is a testament to their dedication and skill. The PPP is an invite-only, club-neutral supplemental training program designed for elite players aged 7-14. It provides a platform for these young athletes to hone their skills under the Philadelphia Union’s player development methodology. Both Colin and Ben have demonstrated exceptional talent and commitment, earning their places among the best young players in the region.

JeanCarlo Hernandez along with Cole and Max  Ehrmann’s selection for the Union Development Program is equally commendable. The UDP serves as an entryway into the PPP and focuses on enhancing players’ technical and tactical understanding of the game. This program is designed to identify and nurture young talent, preparing them for higher levels of competition. JeanCarlo, Cole, and Max’s hard work and passion for soccer have clearly paid off, as they embark on this exciting new chapter in their development.
