Refs under 18 will have a yellow wristband. Please be mindful of how the refs, especially these refs, are being treated during your games. Mosa reminds us that there are criminal charges for inappropriate interactions with a ref who is under 18. Registration fees went up. If you are going to take a coaching course right now, the first 100 to sign up will get 35 off if you indicate that you are a mosa coach. Mosa cup – Ryan is getting bombarded so please contact bill and he will reach out on your behalf if it is needed. |

| fundraising | As per brian, all individual fundraising is currently on hold. One pending change: all team funds must be sent to rich as treasurer and held in hsc bank accounts. Kyle notes that a donut fundraiser is coming up and was given permission to continue that one. Andrea’s skyzone fundraiser was cancelled as the new expected procedure is that coaches should be volunteering to be present at fundraisers, even those like skyzone where the parents are required to remain on the property. Without support, events should not be happening. Also on pause are things like football pools until they can be properly researched and determine if they are impacting the permit we currently hold. Once again, Andrea is asking that any fundraising you may want to do be shared with her so that she is aware as she plans whole club events and we do not step on each other’s toes. | No individual team fundraising until further notice. | treasurer | The biggest expenditure was the veo cameras. There are procedures in place to sign them out – you must watch the video before you are able to do so. Refer to club email for further information about the cameras. Each camera has a qr code for signing out that links to a google form. academy.veo.co – veo fundamentals |
| certification. This is a requirement. It is one hour. Each coach must also make sure that every player has filled out the corresponding form for use. | ||
| facilities | We need to do better about maintaining the building. There are rules and procedures in place to guide responsibilities during the day and at the end of the day. Trash has been left in bins and on the fields. If we cannot do better, we may need to go more formal or institute fines or restrictions for those who are not participating or cooperating. Make sure you are returning equipment, flags, etc. | |
| tournaments | We are in the mount laurel Columbus day tournament. Frank is offering his players as he has many secondary passed who are playing for their other teams. Permission must be granted to those who may play on two teams. Please make sure you send pictures to Andrea for social media. Good luck to all. | |
| Player evals | Should be done after week 5 And at the end of the season. Kurt has sent a form that we can use. Forward evals to Brian. | |
| Winter training | Discussion about bob smith vs center court. Decision seems to be that using center court makes sense. Please fill out the forms available in regards to training at the schools over the winter or top notch as it becomes available. As per the board minutes of HTSD, Andrea has secured us two schools for winter training with two more lined up, though one of them is Wednesday and Friday only. | |
| cameras | Veo cameras were discussed at an executive board meeting held which was attended only by Rich, Brian, Kurt. The decision was made to spend the money and make the purchase at that meeting. Cameras were purchased at the cost of 180000. See notes under treasurer, too. Cameras are only to be used at home games. | Players need to sign their form – coaches, make sure this happens. |
| Union benefits | Talk of having fang appear at travel tryout dates. We need to determine those and move quickly to secure him. | |
| Use of pu practice fields outside of the stadium. Free ticket for every player. There are more perks and these will continue to be shared. | ||
| Elections update | Names for commissioner are to be sent by October 18th via email to Andrea. Brian will pass the candidates to the board and have them cleared. A vote will take place in November’s meeting. As recording secretary, Andrea will run the election. The entire board is up for review. Andrea is working on setting up a form with job descriptions for candidates to declare interest in other board positions. This form will be sent out after commissioner is named at the November meeting and those positions will be voted on in the December meeting. | Email Andrea by October 18th if you would like to be considered for the position of commissioner. |
| Practice shirts | Practice shirts and coaches shirts are still missing from many teams. New teams were to be outfitted prior to teams with new players or due for renewal. Nelson is following up. | |
