Focus on the player. Evenly distributed playtime. Multiple positions learned and played. Teaching the responsibilities of the positions. Allowing the player to use what is learned in practice to demonstrate in the game. Minimal sideline direction while playing. Teaching the players to respect everyone, a bad call,play or game does not make the individual. Everyone makes decisions that they wish they could change, there is no time machine, learn from them and make better ones the next time.
